Our office responds to death scenes per 49.25 of Texas State Law. We investigate the death as well as the circumstances that are involved. We identify the decedent, gather evidence, gather and inventory property, locate and notify next of kin, testify in court as needed, and assist family members as per the necessary course of action involving their family member. We also issue cremation certificates for funeral homes.
Our services are free to those that require them, as we are tax payer funded.
