Scenic route through the city (probably the easiest)
Go north on I-35W
Take Exit 85B WEST OAK
Continue .3 mile to stop sign, turn right on to West Oak
Continue .5 mile, West Oak turns into Hickory
Continue 2.5 miles on Hickory, enter parking lot of Denton County Court Building just past Ruddel Street
Turn right at stop sign, then turn left at end of parking lot
Continue to parking lot of Denton County Jail and Law Enforcement Center

Highway route
Go north on I-35W
Take Exit 85A DALLAS
Enter I-35E South, continue south 2 miles
Take Exit 465A FM2181-TEASLEY LANE
Continue .2 mile to stop light, turn left onto Teasley Lane
Continue east .4 miles, cross Dallas Drive
Teasley turns into Shady Oaks Drive
Continue .7 mile to Woodrow Lane, turn left at light
Continue north .8 mile to private street Troy LaGrone Drive at entrance to jail
Turn left onto Troy Lagrone Drive
Continue .1 mile to stop sign, turn right
Continue to parking lot of Denton County Jail and Law Enforcement Center


From U.S. 380 east of city (DeSoto)

Go west on US 380/University Drive
Turn left onto Loop 288 just past the 288 overpass
Continue 1.3 miles to East McKinney Street
Turn right on E. McKinney
Continue 1.2 miles to Woodrow Lane/Audra Lane
Continue .1 mile past the intersection, then turn left into Denton County Jail and Law Enforcement center (see entrance picture)
Continue to parking lot of Denton County Jail and Law Enforcement Center

Go east on US380/University Drive
Turn right onto I-35E South, continue south 3.8 miles
Take Exit 465A FM2181-TEASLEY LANE
Continue .2 mile to stop light, turn left onto Teasley Lane
Continue east .4 miles, cross Dallas Drive
Teasley turns into Shady Oaks Drive
Continue .7 mile to Woodrow Lane, turn left at light
Continue north .8 mile to private street Troy LaGrone Drive at entrance to jail

From I-35 north of city (Sanger, Gainesville)

Drive south on I-35
Take Exit 471, continue .4 mile
Turn left onto U.S. 77/Elm Street
Continue 4.5 miles
Turn left onto East McKinney Street, continue for 1.1 miles
Turn right into Denton County Jail and Law Enforcement center (see entrance picture)
Continue to parking lot of Denton County Jail and Law Enforcement Center
