Department Function
Justice Court, Precinct Five serves the citizens of the northern part of Denton County from the western county line to the northern county line. The precinct is made up of many miles of rural countryside. Among other duties, Judge Bateman, along with his staff of seven, serve the citizens at the Steven E. Copeland Government Center, located at 1400 FM 424, Ste. 124, Cross Roads, Texas, for
all court-related business. On the first and last Fridays of each month, the Sanger office, located at 209 N. 5th Street, is open for
vehicle registration renewals only.
Office Hours
The office is open from 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
