| MINIMUM SALARY: | $2,226.077 Bi-weekly |
| DUTIES: | Performs professional legal work prosecuting criminal suspects on behalf of the State of Texas. Work involves prosecuting jury and non-jury misdemeanor trials and/or negotiating settlements, and preparing various briefs, motions and other legal devices, as necessary. Employee is also responsible for performing legal research in the preparation of trials, assisting in preparation of court dockets, and assisting and advising law enforcement personnel in the preparation of search and arrest warrants. Work may also involve assisting in intake processing of misdemeanor cases to determine appropriate charges against suspects, and developing procedures and overseeing bond forfeiture proceedings. |
| QUALIFICATIONS: | Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited school of law; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. |
| REQUIREMENTS: | Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. |
