Johnny W. Hammons began his law enforcement career in June of 1993
as a Detention Officer with Denton County Sheriff's Department. In
1994 he attended Dallas Baptist University and received his Police
Officer Certification. He continued to work for the Sheriff's
department as a Bailiff and Transport Officer. He began working for
the Constable Precinct 1 office in 2003. Deputy Hammons married his
wife Shelly in 1984. They have two sons, Scott & Daniel. He enjoys
sports, music, Elvis memorabilia and spending time with his family.
