Farris, Chief Deputy
Chief
Deputy Farris has been in law enforcement for nearly twenty-three
years, with the last fourteen years serving Denton County in the
Constables Office. Chief Farris began his law enforcement
career with the Denton Police Department as a Reserve Officer from
1976-1980. He served as Chief of Police for the City of
Corinth from 1981-1983. In 1983-1985 Chief Farris served the
Community of Lake Dallas as Sergeant. After serving in Lake
Dallas Chief Farris moved his career to the Constable's Office where
he has been for the past fourteen plus years. The Chief is the
Department Range Officer and holds a Firearms Instructors
Certification. Some of his hobbies include bowling, carpentry,
and fishing.
