Be it remembered, Commissioners Court of Denton County, Texas was called to order on the 30th day of May, 2006, at 9:00 a.m. in Commissioners Courtroom, 2nd Floor, Courthouse on the Square, Denton, Texas by Denton County Judge Mary Horn. Commissioners Cynthia White, Sandy Jacobs, and Bobbie Mitchell were present, along with County Clerk Cynthia Mitchell’s representative, Deputy Clerk, Kathleen Brandsford.
Court opened with an Invocation by Tommy Brewer, followed by the Pledges of Allegiance to the American and Texas Flags led by Amy Phillips, Human Resources Director.
Mr. Brewer: Father God, we praise Your name as we are grateful for the blessings You provide in our life. We ask Your protection and safe-keeping for our servicemen and women at home and abroad as we remember those who gave their last full measure of devotion for our freedom. Father, we ask one thing and that is to be worthy of their sacrifice. Bless this court and the decisions made for the citizens of Denton County that they be pleasing to You. In Christ's name we pray. Amen.

C) Approval of the Supplement Agreement #1 to the Interlocal Cooperative Agreement, dated February 1, 2000, between Denton County, Texas, and the City of Carrollton, Texas, regarding the SH 121 State Infrastructure Bank Loan; Supplement Agreement #1 provides for reimbursement of $1,683,335.00 to the City of Carrollton, pursuant to the Memorandum of Understanding, executed March 24, 2005, whereby Denton County agreed to refund the City of Carrollton’s SIB Loan expenditures upon reimbursement to Denton County by the Texas Department of Transportation, Commissioner Precinct #2, and any appropriate action.
