Robin Cole Jett

Historian Robin Cole Jett will discuss the exploits of Bonnie and Clyde including what they did and where they hid in Denton County. In five road tours, laid out to coincide with their short lives, heinous crimes and gruesome deaths, Robin Cole Jett offers an engaging look inside the Barrow Gang and the places they frequented.
Denton A-Z: The Lost or Forgotten Communities of Denton County  DJ Taylor

From Abney's Farm, Buttermilk Flats, Possum Trot, Rabbit Ridge, Uncletown, to Zion and more--finding the lost communities of Denton County. DJ Taylor, Denton County Historian, Denton County Historical County Publications and Communications Chairman, Denton Record Chronicle Yesteryear Columnist and DCHC Retrospect editor remembers these communities in his upcoming presentation, Denton A-Z.

Post-Civil War Reconstruction: Lee-Peacock Feud

Local storyteller and traveling museum docent Janet Latham will present the story of the Lee-Peacock Feud, the longest and bloodiest feud in Texas History, through the voice of Dorinda Pierce, a local school teacher of the time.
