Denton County Public Health provides application assistance to residents of Denton County who are enrolled in or would like to apply for The Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and/or Children's Medicaid.

Items to Bring for CHIP/Children's Medicaid:
- Your government issued photo ID
- Citizenship or immigration status for each child applying for benefits
- Income Verification
- Unpaid medical bills from last 3 months
- Child care expenses
