As of 10/1/2005, Denton County is mandatory payroll direct deposit. All new hires must have a checking or savings account available for payment of their pay check. Employees hired prior to 10/1/2005 and who already participate with direct deposit, must also maintain an active direct deposit status. Failure to provide active checking or savings account information will delay payment of your pay check until new account information is provided.
